Ostseezeitung-publishing company
On the 30th of May 2017 our class went to Rostock with Mrs. Schmidt and Mrs. Westphal. We visited the publishing company „Ostseezeitung“. We received a guided tour by a staff member through the publishing house. We were led through the production halls and the editorial department and the storage room and visited the museum of the OZ.
There we saw old machines for a newspaper. The staff member told us about the production with these old machines, which was very interesting. We learned a lot about the history and the present of newspaper production.
Afterwards we met two ladies who did an exercise for language awareness.
Last but not least we went to the “Verbraucherzentrale”. There we got information about how to be careful when we shop on the internet, customer’s rights and how to enforce ones rights.
